Our Houses
Our four houses promote teamwork, belonging, charity, and collaboration through friendly competition and shared community activities.
In honour of the pioneering chemist Branca Edmée Marques, who was Portugal's first female chemistry professor. After studying under Marie Curie, she returned to Lisbon and established the country's first Radiochemistry Lab, leading research and inspiring future generations.

In honour of Charles Richard Drew (1904 – 1950), an American physician, surgeon, and medical researcher who advanced the field of blood transfusion by developing large-scale blood banks early in World War II. He stood firmly against the practice of racial segregation in blood donation, challenging it on scientific grounds.

In honour of Qiu Jin, a fearless Chinese revolutionary, poet, and feminist who defied societal norms to champion women's rights and fight for a new China. She boldly challenged traditional gender roles and inspired a generation of women to pursue education and liberation.
This house embodies the values of courage, boldness, and vision.
In honour of Pythagoras, a philosopher and mathematician best known for the Pythagorean theorem, a cornerstone of geometry still used today. Passionate about numbers, he believed that everything could be explained through numerical relationships.
