Congratulations to our IGCSE graduates for their magnificent results. After two years of adapting to different learning environments, and overcoming several challenges, our grade 10 students did us all very proud.

This year’s results are testament to their hard work and determination, with:

  • 21% of students achieving the top A* grade
  • 38% of entries awarded A*-A grades
  • 78% of students achieved A* – C grades

Mrs. Telma Luís Fresta, Head of the International Section at St. Peter’s International School remarked “Our IGCSE graduates are certainly to be congratulated for their outstanding achievement. After two challenging years, they have proved that with determination, effort and hard work, their goals can be met, and expectations can even be exceeded. Well done to each and every one of you! We will continue to give you all our support them as throughout the next stage of this academic journey in the IB Diploma Programme.”

These results become even more impressive when we consider the tumultuous academic year that all schools worldwide have faced due to the COVID19 pandemic. Thanks to the resilience shown by our students, together with the support shown by their families and teachers, our IGCSE graduates are a prime example of our learning community and prove the effects of the lifelong skills our students develop throughout their years at our school.

We would particularly congratulate Sérgio Ribeiro, for his remarkable results: seven A* and one A grade. When asked about the syllabus, Sérgio states “The IGCSE curriculum is an immensely enriching programme. Even though it may seem like a challenge at first, it has helped me to develop key skills I’m sure I’ll need for the IB, like time management, responsibility and organisation.”
