In a world that is constantly changing, in which society lives at an ever increasing pace, education has taken on a leading role as the foremost factor that withholds highest of social responsibilities.

St. Peter's International School provides a competitive, high quality response to the needs of a diverse population. The basic principles of this project are centred on the integral development of the child, giving value to academic and professional success, based on attitudes, practices and structured principals that contribute to the growth of the individual.

Our mission is to build self-reliant, critical, creative students, who have the necessary skills and abilities to perform well at a personal, social and professional level, thus allowing them to pursue their studies, benefitting from an active and significant integration into a rapidly changing and increasingly globalized society.

Considering the cosmopolitan spirit of the school, in which students of different nationalities work together, the English language acquires particular importance in our educational context, present in the syllabus from kindergarten to secondary school. The acquisition of other languages is also vital - Spanish, German and Latin - that allow students to gain an in-depth understanding of our social context as well as get an insight into different worldviews and cultural realities, thus promoting a transdisciplinary development of knowledge and values, as well as greater competitiveness in the labour market.

The eclectic and multilingual education advocated by the institution is also evident in the possibility at secondary school level to study through the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - a two-year academic programme, recognised by the most renowned universities around the world as the pre-university method that best prepares students for entry into higher education.

On the other hand, we aim to develop an appreciation of the various art forms, thus encouraging creativity. It is also our ambition to promote healthy lifestyles, encouraging physical activity and sports, whilst instilling safe conduct in our students so that these can be put into practice in their daily lives.

Finally, in accordance with our guiding principles, we reiterate the great importance we give to the teaching of values and principals in order to articulate a cognitive, moral and aesthetic sensibility in our students. As such, by exploring their critical spirit, we aim to promote responsibility, autonomy, citizenship and solidarity in our students.

In this sense, the redevelopment of the rules of our educational project for the next three years (2015-2018), reflects not only the consolidation of our basic principles, but also the essential evolution of our philosphy in order to face the educational challenges of 21st century society.
